Anthony Wayne's Abby Allen breaks AW career goal-scoring record

Anthony Wayne senior forward/midfielder Abby Allen broke the Anthony Wayne girls soccer program all-time career goals record last night after recording two tallies last night in their 3-1 big road win against the Findlay Lady Trojans.  Allen surpassed the standard with her 58th and 59th goal of her career for the Generals - a record once held by her sister and former AW and Northwestern standout Kate. Allen has been a key catalyst for Lori Williams' Generals program from day one and helped propel AW to their second straight District title and an appearance in the Regional final last fall before falling short to Rocky River Magnificat. Allen comes from a very strong athletic pedigree - sister Kate was a two-time All-Ohioan herself on the pitch and continued her soccer career at Northwestern University while brother Reed, a standout himself for AW on the football field and baseball diamond and currently participating in both sports at Ohio Northern University  - Abby has created her own standard through her journey at AW.  Not only a standout on the soccer field but an excellent student in the classroom, she is currently the number one student in her graduating class of 2015 with a GPA of 4.77. Abby currently plays her club soccer for the Pacesetter Soccer Club and will continue her career next fall for Indiana University of the Big Ten Conference.  Special congratulations to Abby Allen on a great career that is nowhere near far from done.
